“more often than not, when someone tells me they’re asexual, it’s normally followed by a snigger and an under the breath ‘yeah you are, you’re A homo-sexual”.
I’ve never seen sexuality or gender as a purely binary concept. We’re all made of male and female ingredients so why would being born with a willy or a foo-foo determine your male/female make-up in absolute form? True, a lot of the time what’s between your legs matches what’s in your soul, but not always. Simple.
But back to always being horny. It’s pretty much all I’ve ever known. In fact, if I cast my mind far enough back, I’m pretty sure I remember 3 year old me humping furniture in the same way a randy spaniel might. It just took to puberty to figure out how to get relief. So I’m sad to say that yes, I’ve never understood asexuality. Indeed, more often than not, when someone tells me they’re asexual, it’s normally followed by a snigger and an under the breath ‘yeah you are, you’re A HOMO sexual‘, or something equally offensive’.
With that in mind, I was delighted to stumble across this clip of Julie Decker telling it like it is. It’s pretty cheesy, but worth a look.
