LGBTicons.com needs your help (not financially).

LGBTicons.com is getting bigger and better.  Currently over 42,000 people subscribe or follow the blog.

two_men_holding_hands_420jpWe’d love YOU to join in and help us with our efforts.  You can do this a few different ways.

1. Tell your friends. Remember our mantra: SHARING IS CARING!  The more shares, likes and retweets we get, the bigger our potential audience.  If we publish something you like, forward it to a friend or comment on it. A little bit of love can go a very long way in the online community.

2: Follow us on Twitter and ‘like’ us on Facebook.  Our most read articles are always those that are shared through social media.  Don’t be shy.  If you like something we have to say, share it with your networks.  We also love interacting and will always responds to messages on Twitter and Facebook.  And we always share additional content on these platforms. (Facebook tends to be comedy related and Twitter is geared towards opinion pieces).

3: Become a guest blogger.  PLEASE! We’re keen for readers to submit ideas for news, content or profiles.  Is there someone that you think we should profile?  A champion of equality? An LGBT artist, public figure, sporting hero, scientist or educator?  Really, anyone significant that you think would be of interest to our readers would work.  You can submit material in various formats.  We’re happy to consider writing, audio or video.  Just write it or make it, and email it to us at lgbticons@gmail.com with CONTENT written in the email title.

If you’d like to be featured as a guest blogger, we’ll also need a short biography, a landscape image of you and links to your own blog or social media sites.  We’re whores for content, so will always be happy to offer reciprocal links or click-throughs to your stuff.

4: Link to us on your blog.  If you like what we do, tell your readers you’re a fan. People who blog like blogs.  It’s simple.

And to our loyal band of supporters out there already doing these things for us.  Thank you.  It hasn’t gone unnoticed.
