We’ve been a little bit quieter for the past couple of months – something to do with our day jobs being summercentric. (That’s a word – honest!) As such we’re recognising more and more that we need your help in keeping the blog up to date with current and exciting content.
We’d love you to join in and help us with our efforts. You can do this several ways.
1: Become a guest blogger. We’re keen for readers to submit ideas for news, content or profiles. Is there someone that you think we should profile? A champion of equality. An LGBT artist, scientist, educator? Really, anyone significant that you think would be of interest to our readers would work. You can submit material in various formats. We’re happy to consider writing, audio or video. Just write it or make it, and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with CONTENT written in the email title. If you’d like to be featured as a guest blogger, we’ll also need a short biography, a landscape image of you and links to your own blog or social media sites.
Our readers are massively diverse in their tastes and what they respond to. Our most successful content has been political, tongue in cheek, sexy, confrontational, controversial, bitchy and articulate, and everything in between. So no matter what your style, know we have a place for you.
2: Follow us on Twitter and ‘like’ us on Facebook. Our most read articles are always those that are shared through social media. Don’t be shy. If you like something we have to say, share it with your networks. We also love interacting and will always respond to messages on Twitter and Facebook. We might even create a platform on Ello once we’ve figured out if it’s as sexy as it seems.
3: Tell your friends we exist. A few nice words can go a long way when it comes to the online community. Dig into the site and have a rummage for stuff that interests you. If you scroll down the page, there are a bunch of key words to help you get to content that you might like.
4: Comment on our posts. The more debate and interaction we have on these posts the more stimulated we get (ooer) with ideas for further content. We really do enjoy hearing from you, even if you’re a religious bam-pot who thinks we’re going to hell because of what or who makes our hoo-has tickle.
In the meantime, know that we love you.
