Brooklyn based queer rap artist, THE POPINJAY (aka Fancyboy) has just released the music video for new tracks Superman Glasses and Kill The Straights and we at LGBTicons are absolutely smitten with him.
In the clip, The Popinjay rallies his followers to join him and “KILL THE STRAIGHTS”.
Titilating satire? Or a brand of extremist heterophobia gone terribly wrong? Well that’s up for you to decide, but with sweet rhymes like: “Anderson Cooper / Put it in my pooper” — it’s definitely a lot of fun.
Check out the controversial clip here but be warned it’s absolutely not suitable for work… unless you work in a cock factory.
The Popinjay has been seen live in NYC at PussyFaggot, Hot Rabbit, and at The Wythe Hotel GayLetter Pride Party.
Coming up, you can see The Popinjay at THE BRICK, Brooklyn | November 6, 7, + 8.
